Worst Example of a Thank-You Letter

Thank you for all your helping and giving the detailed tour these two days.
I'm very interested in this job. I'd love to dedicate myself on Database design and Web application design.
However the salary is a little below my expectation, and I was expecting 55k~65k per year.
I forget to ask a question this afternoon. Do you sponsor my H1 Visa?
Could you please tell me what is the latest date I should decide to take the offer or not?

Also I attached my friend, Joanne's resume in email. Could you please ask XXX if he could help her find an opportunity in XXX or any suitable position in XXX? I can have her coming to XXXXX for an interview in XXX if necessary. As you and XXX said, it's the best thing for us to work and live together in the same city.

After 3 days from sending this email, got no response during that time, I got rejected from an oral done deal.
Now I have to start to find another job in the US. sigh.....
