先說本篇重點:

找運車公司應該做的功課:
1. 上transportreviews.com隨意挑幾監看起來不錯的公司,但不是這樣就結束了.
2. 辜狗該公司名稱+關鍵字scam, bad services... 看看該公司是否有許多不良紀錄.
3. 上bbb.org查看該公司的公司評價.為啥要在兩個網站同時查公司評價呢?只在第一個網站上面查詢不夠嗎?(註1)

之前從東岸運車過來西岸的時候,在transportreviews.com上面找到一家review很高的運車公司,該公司是alldayautotransport, 那時我天真的以為,再(1)網站上五顆星的公司就無敵沒問題了,辜狗的時候也沒有認真查負面評價,只有看到有很多成功案例,就直接跟她們連絡並下訂金了.沒想到這是惡夢的開始.

過程我就用我在網站上發的review來解釋:

SCAM!! Don't choose this company!!

Review:

First of all, my car was never shipped by them at the end!Here is how it goes....I got a quote on 10/09/11. I gave them my first pick up date 11/01/11 and they said they need to get the deposit 2 weeks prior the pick up date so that they can start to find a carrier. So I paid the deposit $185 on 10/14/11.

Within 2 weeks, I wrote several emails to Mimi and she rarely replied me back. On 11/02 she still fooled me around.... after a week (11/10) she was still saying she couldn't find a driver yet and my whole schedule was delayed by them.

On 11/11(Fri) I got myself a new auto transport company (Nationwide Auto Carriers) and got the car shipped on 11/14(Mon).The same day 11/14(Mon) Mimi called me back and said they found a driver but I didn't care anymore, and that's after 1 month I paid the deposit!!

I didn't get my deposit back...... Mimi said that's non-refundable... On the phone she said their manager would contact me if I had any issue with that... but I never got any calls back from this company.

噢, 我要解釋一下bbb(Better Business Bureau)是什麼東東. 他是一個用來建立公司信用的網站,非常中立,簡而言之是讓每個公司的好壞能直接呈現在顧客面前而不用擔心作假.

後來, 該公司在review發表的一小時內立刻告知網站說她們從來沒有我這個顧客,因此希望該網站將我的review拿下來. 這手段有沒有很高,我的review立馬被拿下來,網站要求我提出我有被服務過的證據才能將我的review放回去,我就把我們之前的幾封email寄給網站請她們將我的review放回去.此外,我同時上bbb對該公司申訴,此時我才發現原來在bbb上面,該公司已經有許多申訴,評價也非常低(D而已),咦?為啥評價網站上給五顆星評價,但是在bbb卻只有給D?(註2).

過了兩週後,我接到該公司主管的電話,將我的訂金退回,並要求我把我的review從網頁上刪除.

註1: 當你在transportreviews.com上面發表時有一個選項:你希望公司看到你的評價後會對你有所補償嗎?這個就是最黑的地方了.你只要受到不好的待遇,上網吵一吵,公司可以給你部份賠償後,要求你將負面評價撤除,讓該公司在網頁上能夠看起來永遠五顆星,她們甚至會付錢($25)給顧客,請她們在車子抵達後上網幫她們留下正面評價.因此正面評價是靠回饋金建立的,而看不到負面評價也是因為花錢消災,評價網站也樂得當調停者,我猜該網站應該也多少有從業者那邊收取回扣,但這只是我的個人猜測.

註2: bbb是公信力很高的網站,當你發表申訴後,該申訴就會永遠呈現在該公司的紀錄中,就算bbb幫你們調停成功,他也只會註明該申訴已解決,但不良的紀錄仍在,這就是為什麼我們除了在評價網站看之外,也同時要在bbb查詢公司信用評價.

本文的發表目的是希望讓在美國運車的人能夠先有所警惕,不要像我一樣折騰...Orz
